The Almansa 402 is equivalent to the Alhambra 3C and is probably superior to the famous Cordoba C5 both in quality of build and in sound. Other than the real abalone & ebony rosette being about 1 degree, or say, 1/16" off center, yet only visible if you look closely between treble side of the ebony fingerboard's end and the the rosette curving around to meet it, my Cordoba C10 is some beauty..Not just in the excellent 7 layer purfling running along the corners of the Indian rosewood back and sides, or the warm orange-like cedar top, great tuners, superbly fitted frets with smooth beveled ends, bone nut and saddle, rosewood bridge and proud looking headstock, it sounds magnificent (due to the unique type of fan-bracing they employ) !! Peering into the soundholes of the instruments, it is immediately clear that workmanship of the Chinese-made guitar is much cleaner - at last as far as excess glue goes.
